Originally set for 2021, the 2022 16th Cliburn Competition premiered commissioned art in the form of a mural by DAAS, created in and presented to the Fort Worth Community. The 16th "Cliburn" also had a singularly striking logo. Further, the 16th Cliburn returned to Texas Christian University for the preliminary and quarterfinal rounds in TCU's new Van Cliburn Hall. The Competition was streamed from www.cliburn.org, Medici TV (cliburn.medici.tv), and youtube.com/thecliburn. (Medici is now available to the TCU community.)
