Government Info on the Internet

To find information on your county on the internet, start at the county's website.

Do a search in Google for your county. For example: "Tarrant County"
Once you find the county's website, do site search using a keyword on your county's website for the information you need. For example: poverty site:tarrantcounty.com.

Access World News
Recent local, state, national, and international newspaper articles. Coverage dates: 1980 - present
Newspaper Source Plus
Articles from U.S., international, and regional newspapers, plus television and radio news transcripts. Coverage dates: 1995 - present
Nexis Uni
Provides news articles for financial, medical, and legal information. Transcripts and wire services are also available.
U.S. Major Dailies
Key national newspapers, same day coverage. The New York Times, Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune. Content available by 8am each day. Images not included. Coverage dates: 1985 - present
