This is a guide for students studying Criminal Justice.

Search Frog Scholar

Find Books

Start at the TCU library homepage, or use the search box above to type in your key words:

Once you get your results, select "Library Catalog" from the options on the left:

Then narrow by the discipline, "history & archaeology" or choose another relevant disicpline:

Shows examples of disciplines under the "discipline" filter. Examples include "religion," "history & archaeology," and "languages & literatures."

To find books on your topic at TCU, start at the library homepage, and choose the third tab, "library catalog," type in a place, and add the word "history." For example:

  • Civil Rights AND history

Then add in more specific ideas. For example:

  • Civil Rights AND history AND protests

Also try searching for particular people, events, or more specific topics. For example:

  • Rosa Parks

If you want to find books about a certain topic in a particular century, add that century into your search. For example: 

  • Civil Rights AND history AND "20th century" (use the quotes to keep "20th Century" together as a phrase)

To find books using FrogScholar, select "Library Catalog" from the options on the left:
