Guide to Searching for Journal Articles or Books: ILL

How to search for journal articles through the library site

Steps to ILL

If you decide to ILL (Interlibrary Loan) instead of using Document Delivery you will need the full citation to request it.

Morales A, Schulman CC, Tostain J, C W Wu F. Testosterone Deficiency
Syndrome (TDS) needs to be named appropriately--the importance of
accurate terminology. Eur Urol 2006;50:407-9.

Go to the library website: http://lib.tcu.edu/

Under the Quick Links select Interlibrary loan & document delivery

Click on the link: Log In for ILL Functions

You will have to sign-in using your My.TCU username/password

You may have to set-up an account with Inter-library loan if you have never logged in before, just follow instructions.

For this request, click on Request an Article

Fill out the form with as much information as possible, and click Submit Information

You will get an email when the article is either available for pickup or available online (generally it will be online).

To find online follow the same path, but instead of clicking on Request and Article choose View/Download Electronically Received Articles. The document will be available for 30 days.
