Start at the TCU library homepage, or use the search box above to type in your key words:

Once you get your results, select "Library Catalog" from the options on the left:

Use additional options on the left to narrow down by publication date, disciplines, or subjects.

To find books on your topic at TCU, start at the library homepage, and choose the third tab, "library catalog," type in some keywords. For example:

  • Humans AND Animals

Then add in more specific ideas. For example:

  • humans AND animals AND communication

Also try searching for the following words as SUBJECT words (see below for how to do this):

  • Human-Animal relationships
  • Human-Animal relationships - Psychological aspects
  • Human-Animal relationships - Religious aspects
  • Pets - Social aspects
  • Animal rights
  • Animal welfare
  • [name of animal, e.g. Birds]
