Searching for Biographies in the Catalog

We have hundreds of biographies in our collection regarding World War I - the key is knowing how to find them!

To initiate a search in the catalog, select "Library Catalog" and choose "More catalog search options".

Choose the "Advanced Search".  Be sure to put multiple word search terms in quotes to get more accurate results.  To narrow the search change the 2nd search option from "Words anywhere" to "Subject word(s)" and type in "biography" to ensure you're only getting that type of material.  Note that you can select particular formats and specific collections as well.
