Economy of the United States: Home

resources to help you research the economic state of the U.S.

How to Use This Guide

Find the resources you need by navigating through the tabs at the top of this page.

  • If you are just beginning your economic research, I recommend you start with the "General Approach/Mindset" tab.  It provides information on how to think about economic research and where to start.

  • If you are ready to jump in, I recommend you begin with either the "Databases/Articles"  or the "Websites" tab.  The bulk of your economic information should be in those resources.

  • If you have a specific piece of information/data that you are having trouble finding, go to the  "Websites" or the "Databases/Articles" tabs.

  • Having trouble navigating the databases?  Check out the search tips tab for helpful hints.

Still need help?  My contact information is on the right side of the page.  I'd love to hear from you!
